He also said, \u201cOur generation is responsible in protecting and preserving the purity of our tradition which is called purest form of democracy unmatched by any civilization.\u201d<\/p>\n
The speaker also said India claiming Nagaland as part of India was absurd and strongly asserted that Nagaland would never be part of India by a way of \u201cappeasements\u201d. <\/p>\n
He also stated that Nagaland and India shared no common history and \u201cwe are not asking anything from India, only India must withdraw its occupational force from Nagaland and that is the plain truth.\u201d \u201cWe are only defending tradition, culture and our country as a nation\u201d, he asserted.<\/p>\n
Ac\u00fcyi Vadeo, joint secretary NCC reminded that the declaration of Naga Independence Day on August 14, 1947 was informed to both India and the United Nations and urged all co-patriots to have faith that there would be \u201cnation amongst nations\u201d since the world was concerned over the Indo- Naga issue.<\/p>\n
Velicho, president Chakhesang Regional Council NNC and general Lhipelo, incumbent National Defence Advisory Board exhorted the gathering. <\/p>\n
Earlier, the meeting was chaired by Pretso Khutso, Tatar FGN, Zhietshunyi Tepfo, Pastor Leshemi Baptist Church read the Bible.
\nThe meeting also adopted a three point resolution for the cause of Naga National sovereignty. <\/p>\n
In the resolution it was mentioned that Kuzha sub-region would continue to follow and support the leadership of Adino Phizo, President NNC, to firmly stick to the Plebiscite of 16th May, 1951, and the elected NNC officers of Kuzha sub-region to continue to hold their offices for five years and in case of demands, members can any time be re-elected. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
