Longon.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Speaking at the launching programme, P. Longon in his speech highlighted the importance of the Mission Indradhanush and urged upon the participants to be responsible for the success of the programme.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He also stressed on the point that Phase II is targeting 297 medium-focus districts in the country and in Nagaland the remaining 5 District, with four rounds of activity planned between October 2015 and January 2016.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>P. Longon said the main objective of Mission Indradhanush was to ensure high coverage of immunization, focusing on the hard to reach areas and villages without sub centre.<\/div>\n<div>Meanwhile, Dr. Sukhato highlighted the significance of the Mission Indradhanush where he encouraged the participants to take the mission as a challenge and ensure that no child is left out.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Dr. Nandira Changkija further stressed on the importance of convergence of the various departments for the success of the programme. She also requested the Officers in charge of the different health units to ensure monitoring and supervision and highlighted that the mission to be continued for all the health personnel.<\/div>\n<div>Earlier on October 11, State Monitoring team, officials from the Directorate of H&amp;FW divided into 3 teams visited District Hospital Peren, Athibung PHC, Tening PHC and CHC Jalukie, Heningkunglwa PHC and Molvon S\/c under Dimapur District and presented a power point presentation about their finding and observations where various issues were discussed and was put forward to the Minister.<\/div>\n<div>The Minister and his entourage also inspected the District Hospital Peren and highlighted about the cleanliness and said that they were pleased with it. He also visited the New Peren District Headquarter CMO Office and CHC Jalukie where meeting was held with the Health Centre Management Committee members and staff\u2019s of the hospital. During his visit the Minister ensured to check upon all the different sections of the hospital and interacted with the indoor patient as well the different category of staff.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The minister was accompanied by secretary, Health &amp; Family Welfare Senti Directorate of Health &amp; Family Welfare (DHFW), principal director Dr. Nandira Changkija, NHM, DHFW mission director Dr. Sukhato, host of officials from the DH&amp;FW and state monitoring DHFW comprising of 3 teams also attended the program.<\/div>\n<div>LONGLENG: Mission Indradanush was launched at district hospital Longleng by district health society Longleng on October 12 with SDO civil Longleng Japeth Woch as chief guest. &nbsp;In his speech Japeth Woch appreciated the services rendered by the health workers despite difficulties and setbacks. He also encouraged the staff to be more sincere and dedicated in their duties, stated the release.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>ZUNHEBOTO: First round Mission Indradhanush was launched at district hospital, Zunheboto by SDO(C), Zunheboto Hollohon.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In his inaugural speech, Hollohon encouraged the health workers to be \u201csincere\u201d and dedicate themselves to bring good coverage about the Mission Indradhanush. &nbsp;He also exhorted all children and pregnant women to received immunization services during the week long activity. At the programme keynote address was delivered by DPO (RCH &amp;UIP Dr. Alemwabang Aier where he highlighted about the objectives of the mission. &nbsp;He said that Immunization services will be available at District Hospital, CHC\u2019s, PHC\u2019s and SC\u2019s with low coverage areas and hard to reach areas of the district. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Aier further requested the participation and assistance from the community to provide the maximum possible coverage for the successful implementation of the programme in the district. The programme was attended by staffs from district administration, members from DTF, GB\u2019s, STH, Church leaders, MO\u2019s, nurses and DPMU staffs. &nbsp;Earlier the programme was chaired by MO, DH, Zunheboto Dr. Nitovi and later vote of thanks was delivered by DPM, NHM, Zunheboto.<\/div>\n<div>Meanwhile, district level training for Mission Indradhanush was conducted on October 9 at Zunheboto with SMO-WHO (India) Dr. Sarkar and DPO (RCH &amp; UIP) Dr. Alemwabang as resource persons. The training was attended by Mos, BPKs and ASHA coordinators. In the training, Dr. Sarkar briefed about the overview of immunization programme at national and state Level and MI phase II. He trained the participants about the MI micro planning, monitoring and supervision, reporting and recording form while he also stressed on the importance of IEC and social mobilization and media interaction. Dr. Alemwabang Aier, spoke on the financial guidelines for MI and timeline activity and emphasized about the district action plan while deputy CMO Zunheboto, Dr. Hoito Sema said the welcome address.<\/div>\n<div>MOKOKCHUNG: Launching programme of Mission Indradhanush Phase II of Mokokchung District was held at District Programme Office Complex on October 12 with deputy commissioner and chairman district health society, Mokokchung Sushil Kumar Patel (IAS) as chief guest.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In his speech, Patel explained the meaning of Indradhanush meaning \u201cRainbow\u201d which will be conducted to prevent against the seven vaccine preventable diseases like the seven colours of the rainbow. &nbsp;He said the mission should reach the grass root levels of the district and for which the involvement of the village health committee is a necessity, he also stated. At the programme, welcome address was delivered by CMO, Mokokchung Dr. S S Akaba Longchar where he highlighted about the seven diseases which will be covered by Mission Indradhanush and the responsibility of the ASHAs during the Mission, while DPO (RCH&amp; UIP) Dr Temsuyanger gave a brief introduction on Mission Indradhanush. &nbsp; The Programme was attended by CMO, Medical Superintendent &nbsp;IMDH, Dy CMO, DPO and his staffs.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mission Indradhanush Phase \u2013II was officially launched on October 12 at District Hospital Peren by minister of health and family welfare, P.
