{"id":8389,"date":"2011-04-29T01:10:39","date_gmt":"2011-04-29T01:10:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2011\/04\/29\/npf-claim-a-fallacy-says-npcc\/"},"modified":"2011-04-29T01:10:39","modified_gmt":"2011-04-29T01:10:39","slug":"npf-claim-a-fallacy-says-npcc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2011\/04\/29\/npf-claim-a-fallacy-says-npcc\/","title":{"rendered":"NPF claim a fallacy, says NPCC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/HCNVNJWEUR.jpg><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline;\">DIMAPUR<\/span>: In obvious response to NPF\u2019s assertion that former chief minister of Goa Edward Luizinho Faleiro was ignoring the \u2018matter of fact\u2019 of DAN\u2019s rapport with UPA government, the NPCC Thursday said the rapport NPF talked about could not be \u201ca one-way traffic\u201d but has to be reciprocal as UPA had never sought their support.<br \/>\n\u201cNPF should not think that its voluntary support to the UPA is so great as to attract the attention of every central leader that landed in Nagaland,\u201d noted the NPCC media cell in a release. <br \/>\nThe NPCC media cell described the NPF\u2019s \u201crepeated attempt to fool Naga public\u201d that Congress in Delhi and Nagaland were disconnected as \u201cmanifestation of a disjointed thinking disorder.\u201d<br \/>\nMaintaining that NPF\u2019s claim of success stories were smudged with rampant corruptions, the Congress said \u201cElse, why are they afraid to refute the NPCC\u2019s corruption charges against the Minister of School Education &amp; SCERT?\u201d<br \/>\nThe media cell said NPF should not think that special grant of Rs. 712 crore to implement 6th RoP and special plan assistance of Rs. 223.36 crore released January 16, 2011 gifted by Congress-led UPA were meritorious awards.<br \/>\nAccording to media cell, the NPF knew very well that without those financial packages DAN government could have invited RBI embargo and subsequently invited Article 350 of the Constitution.<br \/>\n\u201cThe NPF is under the saving grace of UPA,\u201d NPCC said, adding UPA was not under any compulsion to reciprocate to its voluntary support.<br \/>\nAlso, digging up NPF\u2019s earlier \u201calien culture\u201d remark over its \u201cdharna\u201d, the media cell said it was very clear from NPF\u2019s statement that they meant the people in Delhi. <br \/>\n\u201cThe NPF should specify what according to them is \u2018alien\u2019 and also define which \u2018culture\u2019 they meant because India is a nation of diverse culture where each ethnic people maintains its own culture and identity,\u201d the NPCC demanded. <br \/>\nAsking what made NPF think that all non-NPF people were not working for Nagas,\u201d the media cell said \u201cDo they think they are the only people having concern for the Nagas?\u201d&nbsp; \u201cLet them spell out clearly what they had done that others had not done\u201d release stated. <br \/>\nFurther, it called fallacy the NPF\u2019s purported claim that Nagaland was one of the most peaceful states in the entire country. NPCC highlighted the casualty reports. (see table)<br \/>\nAlso, the NPCC asked if the state was peaceful, why were DAN ministers, parliamentary secretaries, advisors and MLAs still move with heavy security escorts? \u201cIf situation is peaceful, why are they afraid to conduct municipal &amp; town council elections? By postponing the Municipal and Town Councils; in what ways had they furthered the peace process while running the Ad-hoc Councils illegally? The NPF should make its stand clear to the people of the State,\u201d questioned media cell.
