\nThe NSCN (I-M), in an emailed statement issued by its MIP, said \u201cconcocted story\u201d that sounded false alarm to Delhi by NPCC president resulted to issuing a \u201cdirective vide F No 9\/28\/97-T dated 15th April 2011 by one Dr. M.C. Mehanathan, director, North East Cell, under the Indian Home Ministry,\u201d to Nagaland state to provide full security cover to Jamir.
\nThe NSCN (I-M) also claimed that union minister of state Ashwani Kumar had left Nagaland with a \u201cheavy bag of gratitude gift\u201d allegedly for denouncing the ongoing \u201cIndo-Naga peace process.\u201d
\n\u201cThis is calculated to make the simpletons believe that no solution will come out of the talks and that Jamir is the only and the best option for the Nagas,\u201d the MIP said, adding to boost his (Jamir) otherwise \u201csagging position\u201d in the 26 Aonglenden by-elections such \u201ctreacherous and cheap acts deplorable from all aspect\u201d were performed by him.
\nAccusing S.C. Jamir of having a long record track of being \u201cdeadly opposed\u201d to the \u201cNaga national struggle for recognition of our rights,\u201d the NSCN (I-M) said: \u201cDuring the 1st Indo-Naga cease-fire, in his letter to Shilu Ao, the then chief minister of Nagaland, Jamir expressed strongly against any kind of solution for the better future of the Nagas.\u201d
\nFurther, the MIP alleged that Jamir has his foot prints in entire major crisis Nagas went through the years.
\n\u201cS.C. Jamir was instrumental in both 1978 Military coup staged by Lt. Col. Supong and the 1988 Khaplang\u2019s abortive coup,\u201d NSCN (I-M) claimed, saying his \u201cso-called \u2018Peace Offensive\u2019 of 1996\u201d saw hundreds of innocent civilians butchered.
\nWhen the 2nd Indo-Naga cease-fire and the peace process took off in 1997, the NSCN (I-M) said Jamir was \u201ctooth and nail\u201d opposed to it and gradually instigated peaceful neighbouring states with his \u201cinfamous statement\u201d in 2001, \u201cas for me it is ok but it is for the neighbouring states to react\u201d. \u201cAnd the hell bent loose!\u201d it added.
\nAlso, the NSCN (I-M) said, Dr.S.C. Jamir, during the chief ministers\u2019 conference in Delhi in 2004, said NSCN must accept Indian constitution and if they refused, they must be declared terrorist organization and should be crushed.
\n\u201cIn the early part of 2010, Jamir went to Manipur and told Ibobi Singh and Rishang Keishing to totally oppose the Naga Integration,\u201d it further claimed.
\nThe NSCN (I-M) asserted a \u201craven will always be a raven\u201d and that it can never become a dove. \u201cSo also, S.C. Jamir will never change his color,\u201d it said.
\nAccording to NSCN (I-M) such \u201cfalse teacher\u201d can never be a true leader of the people but rather people are used as \u201chis ladder to climb up to his seat to serve his own purpose.\u201d
