{"id":8543,"date":"2011-05-06T01:21:15","date_gmt":"2011-05-06T01:21:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2011\/05\/06\/geean-allege-back-door-appointments-in-power-deptt\/"},"modified":"2011-05-06T01:21:15","modified_gmt":"2011-05-06T01:21:15","slug":"geean-allege-back-door-appointments-in-power-deptt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2011\/05\/06\/geean-allege-back-door-appointments-in-power-deptt\/","title":{"rendered":"GEEAN allege \u2018back door\u2019 appointments in Power deptt."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Alleging \u201cback door\u201d contract appointments of three SDO posts and four JE posts in the power department, the graduate electrical engineers\u2019 association of Nagaland (GEEAN) Thursday demanded the government to nullify those appointments immediately and conduct fair and transparent exam. <br \/>\nAccording to GEEAN president and general secretary, the power department had sent a requisition letter dated January 2, 2010 stating the vacancy of three SDO posts (electrical) and four JE posts (electrical) to be filled up through NPSC exam. <br \/>\nHowever, even after a lapse of more than a year, the requisition has not been approved by the government. \u201cSurprisingly, the same file No.PWR\/ESST-02\/01\/10 containing the application for contract appointment has been approved and some persons (related to VVIPs) were given the appointment for the said vacant posts vide order dated April 18, 2011 for a period of one year, without interview,\u201d they&nbsp; claimed. <br \/>\nThe association also posed several questions: \u201chow is that the requisition letter to NPSC for vacant post been overlooked?
