When she stood in front of the packed auditorium on Saturday night it all proved too much for Jennifer Lopez and she broke down in tears.<\/p>\n

Only now, days later, have pictures emerged of that emotional moment as the 42-year-old singer performed her new song, One Love.
\nThe star has also tried to explain just why she cried and believes it was a reaction to the sympathetic atmosphere in the crowd.<\/p>\n

\u2018You know what it was? I was standing there and I realised that I did bare a little bit of my thoughts in this song and I acted it out kind of for the audience,\u2019 she later told Access Hollywood. <\/p>\n

\u2018And the way they received it was very touching. I think that they felt what I felt, which was that I\u2019m just a girl like everyone else.\u2019
\nWith her hair pulled back and wearing a sparkling costume, the star seemed quite overcome, holding a hand to her chest and looking out over the crowd. <\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m going to sing you the last song I wrote about love. A lot has changed since then,\u2019 she told the crowd.
\n\u2018We wanted to do a section of the show that talked about love,\u2019 she added to Extra of the performance. \u2018And through it, I go through all the different moments of my life. <\/p>\n

\u2018At the end of the day it\u2019s a journey. It\u2019s about love, It\u2019s about loving yourself,\u2019 she said. \u2018The audience saw me being open so they saw it was a regular person like everybody else. I have feelings like everybody else.\u2019 <\/p>\n

\u2018My life gets great and gets not so great sometimes,\u2019 she admitted. \u2018It is what it is.\u2019
\nThe star also acknowledged she became more emotional when she spotted her mother in the audience, and when she performed song Until It Beats No More.<\/p>\n

The show also saw a cavalcade of potentially emotional moments for the star when dancers recreated her important relationships while she sang.<\/span><\/p>\n
