Princess Beatrice is keen to get involved with the Queen\u2019s Diamond Jubilee celebrations and wants to join her father Prince Andrew on a visit to India in honour of the occasion. <\/p>\n
She is understood to have asked if she could accompany him this year as part of a world tour by Royals to mark her grandmother\u2019s 60th anniversary.<\/p>\n
The Princess is still trying to find a job after graduating from London\u2019s Goldsmiths College last year. \u2018Beatrice would like to play her part in marking her grandmother\u2019s milestone,\u2019 says a source. <\/p>\n
\u2018She has a lot to offer the Royal Family, but there is a feeling the attention is being focused on William, Harry and Kate as far as the young Royals are concerned.\u2019 <\/p>\n
Although Beatrice, 23, was one of the most prominent Royals to take part in Andrew Marr\u2019s recent TV documentary, Diamond Queen, she has no official role in the Jubilee celebrations.<\/p>\n
The Duke is keen for daughters Beatrice and Eugenie to take on more Royal duties. \u2018If that is what they want to do, I see no reason why not. I could make use of them because they would take some of the burden off me,\u2019 he has said.<\/p>\n
In 2008, Prince Andrew took Beatrice on a 14-day tour of Egypt and Abu Dhabi, where she \u2018observed\u2019 his work as a UK Trade Ambassador.
\n\u2018She has raised the possibility of going to India and it is being considered,\u2019 says an aide. Beatrice spent her gap year travelling, including a trip to India. \u2018The Princess is keen to be involved with the celebrations and she would love to go back to India,\u2019 adds a friend.
