{"id":88532,"date":"2012-03-14T00:39:43","date_gmt":"2012-03-14T00:39:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2012\/03\/14\/pan-nscn-k-flays-cfgr-inconsistencies\/"},"modified":"2012-03-14T00:39:43","modified_gmt":"2012-03-14T00:39:43","slug":"pan-nscn-k-flays-cfgr-inconsistencies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2012\/03\/14\/pan-nscn-k-flays-cfgr-inconsistencies\/","title":{"rendered":"PAN NSCN (K) flays CFGR \u2018inconsistencies\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>\u201cPeople\u2019s Army\u201d (PA), NSCN (K) Tuesday said that the present trend clearly indicated that cease-fire ground rules (CFGR) have become \u201cmore or less an arbitrary imposition\u201d on it by the Government of India and \u201cher agencies\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>Stating that the cease-fire agreement had been arrived at \u201cbilaterally\u201d, \u201cPeople\u2019s Army\u201d, NSCN (K) said that to \u201cour understanding\u201d, the implementation of CFGR was \u201ca joint-responsibility\u201d of both the Government of India and NSCN. A statement issued by \u2018Lt. Gen.\u2019 Niki Sumi, \u2018military supervisor, People\u2019s Army Nagaland, NSCN\/GPRN, said that the \u201cincessant pressures, harassments, arrests, detainments\u201d caused to its cadres was \u201cbecoming a daily routine\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>It pointed out that it was not only the cadres but the Indian soldiers were also being put to \u201cmaximum tensions and exertions both physically and psychologically\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>The statement added that cease-fire supervisory members from both NSCN and Government of India were engaged in \u201cwhite collared discussions\u201d, while the two \u201carmed forces\u201d were being used in complete \u201cdisregard of the civility and humanitarian aspects\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>The statement termed the development as \u201ccompletely contrary\u201d to agreed CFGR and questioned if it was a \u201cnecessity\u201d to put \u201ctwo armed forces\u201d at loggerheads to start a political dialogue and also asked if it was the \u201cprerogative\u201d of Government of India alone to conduct reviews, modification etc., of CFGR or to be done jointly and consultatively. <\/p>\n<p>The statement further asked whether CFGR was meant to be observed specifically by \u201cPeople\u2019s Army, NSCN alone\u201d or in partnership with the Government of India where her forces also had bindings. <\/p>\n<p>The statement further added that the \u201cissue\u201d was political and therefore trying to \u201cmilitarise\u201d the conflict even before formal political dialogue ensued may become \u201ccounter-productive and unfruitful\u201d. <br \/>\n(Full text on p-4)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cPeople\u2019s Army\u201d (PA), NSCN (K) Tuesday said that the present trend clearly indicated that cease-fire ground rules (CFGR) have become \u201cmore or less an arbitrary imposition\u201d on it by the Government of India and \u201cher agencies\u201d.
