{"id":88638,"date":"2012-03-18T23:48:05","date_gmt":"2012-03-18T23:48:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2012\/03\/18\/state-vigilance-team-inspects-rd-projects\/"},"modified":"2012-03-18T23:48:05","modified_gmt":"2012-03-18T23:48:05","slug":"state-vigilance-team-inspects-rd-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2012\/03\/18\/state-vigilance-team-inspects-rd-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"State vigilance team inspects RD projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/MOVNCHEZOWSSKSZYBQHY.jpg>Members of the state-level vigilance and monitoring committee nominated by the ministry of rural development, New Delhi for state of Nagaland toured Dhansiripar, Kuhuboto, Medziphema and Niuland rural development blocks under Dimapur district on March 13 and 14.<\/p>\n<p>The tour was conducted for spot verification of different projects under rural development and other departments such as PWD, PHED, land resources, social welfare, food and civil supply etc.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>The team comprising of ex-MLA, Medokul Sophie, Richard Humtsoe, Imtirenba Changkiri and Hayithung Bill Lotha accompanied by program officer, MGNREGA Alemla Chishi and officials of PWD, PHED, land resources, social welfare and rural development visited several on-going and completed projects sponsored by central government and also interacted with village council, VDB members and villagers. <\/p>\n<p>Apart from enlightening the villagers about the programmes and schemes sanctioned by ministry of rural development for improvement of rural livelihood like Annapurna rice scheme for BPL families distributed through department of food and civil supplies and varied pension benefits through department of social welfare, the team members checked financial transaction and work progress records maintained at the grass-root levels and observed the need for improvement in that area as well work quality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the state-level vigilance and monitoring committee nominated by the ministry of rural development, New Delhi for state of Nagaland toured Dhansiripar, Kuhuboto, Medziphema and Niuland rural development blocks under Dimapur district on March 13 and 14.
