The media cell said, demand for trade license and Christmas donations by NFGs was a harassment and trauma to business community.<\/div>\n<div>In this regard, ACAUT cautioned NFGs to immediately stop illegal taxation or face total shutter-down of all business activities.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>It also appealed to the law enforcing agencies, especially Dimapur Police to arrest those rogue scoundrels, who are disturbing the peaceful atmosphere and the festive mood.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Further, ACAUT asked the district administration to point out \u201chow many trade licenses should a business house have? \u201cThe government of Nagaland cannot allow several parallel governments to operate with impunity or turn a blind eye to their activities\u201d, ACAUT media cell stated.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Therefore, ACAUT said that if the state government was unable to check such unlawful activities, it had no right to issue trade licenses.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ACAUT Nagaland has strongly condemned the \u201cunchristian activities\u201d of Naga Factional Groups (NFGs) for indulging in forceful illegal taxation and collection, despite repeated appeal for \u2018One Government One Tax\u2019.
