One of the Naga girls rescued from an illegal home run by Pastor Jacob John in Jaipur, Rajasthan has accused him of \u201crepeatedly raping\u201d her.<\/p>\n
Revealing this to Nagaland Post, Programme Coordinator (Hq), FXB-India Suraksha, Satya Prakash said that the minor girl (17) during the counseling revealed that she was repeatedly raped from the age of 11. <\/p>\n
The girl has been staying at the home for the last six to seven years now, added Prakash.
\nFollowing her statement, Prakash said medical and gynecological tests were conducted with her consent and that reports for the same were still awaited. He also informed that on Monday the girl would be giving her statement under 164 CrPC.<\/p>\n
However, Praksh lamented that so far the identity and whereabouts of the other girls could not be ascertained as proper records were not maintained and they had already left the home when it was raided.<\/p>\n
He also said that officials from Nagaland would be reaching Jaipur Sunday and after official formalities the children would be sent back to Nagaland by Monday or Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Urging Nagaland government to take stringent action, Prakash said that there were some local people who were supplying the children to Jacob. <\/p>\n
Prakash also asked how the children were sent to Jaipur for education when Right to Education (RTE) was mandatory in every state. <\/p>\n
\u201cDoes Nagaland not have schools? Why is the children sent to an unknown city where the culture, climate, living habits is very different\u2026 is the state government failing to provide education?\u201d queried Prakash.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile according to another source, the main conduit of the trafficking was another pastor from Tamenglong district in Manipur. <\/p>\n
The source identified the person as one Ngamlung, a pastor of a church in Ntuklung village,Tamenglong district.<\/p>\n
The source also said that pastor Ngamlung was known to pastor Jacob John and acted as the local channel to contact children from poor families.<\/p>\n
It may be mentioned that on March 12, 51 trafficked children were rescued from \u2018Grace Home\u2019 and \u2018Fathers children home\u2019 out of which eight children were from Peren district, Nagaland.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
