It was a moving moment, as proud parents Frederik and Mary of Denmark christened their baby twins. \nIn line with tradition, their names had been kept under wrapped until the ceremony. But the three-month-old twins are now known to the world as Prince Vincent Frederik Minik Alexander and Josephine Sophia Ivalo Mathilda.
\nThe intimate ceremony took place at Holmen church in Copenhagen, which holds a special place in the heart of the twins\u2019 grandmother, Queen Margrethe, who was married there in 1967.
\nThe little princess wore a christening robe of white cotton batiste and a bonnet which belonged to her great-grandmother Queen Ingrid. And the little prince wore a gown fashioned from Brussels lace, which was originally made for the christening of future King Christian X in 1870.
\nMeanwhile, mum Mary looked stunning in a structured blue shift dress and white feathered headpiece, whilst Frederik complemented her look in a navy suit. The select gathering who were present to witness the happy moment consisted of close friends and family, including Frederik\u2019s parents Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik, and his brother, Joachim.
\nThe royal guest list was smaller than usual for this type of event as none of the major members from the royal houses of Sweden, Norway or the Netherlands were able to attend due to official engagements.
