Soccer\u2019s CESC Fabregas has been playing through the heartbreak of splitting from his childhood sweetheart, The Sun can reveal. \nBrunette Carla Garcia, 24 – the Arsenal ace\u2019s girlfriend for seven years – had been tipped by pals to wed the multi-millionaire Spaniard.
\nFriday night he was said to be \u201ccut up\u201d over the break-up – despite his father revealing: \u201cThe decision to end the relationship was more his than Carla\u2019s.\u201d
\nDad Francesc said at the family home in Arenys de Mar, near Barcelona: \u201cIt\u2019s a shame. They had been together for a long time and she was a lovely girl.\u201d
\n\u201cBut Cesc wants to be on his own. He preferred to end things before there were children or things like that.\u201d
\nThe Gunners skipper, 23, was already dating Carla when Arsenal signed him as a 16-year-old from Spanish giants Barcelona – who are currently rumoured to want him back from the North London club for up to ?40million.
