Lalrosanga said the meeting was remarkable, as it was coinciding with the All India Radio, Kohima golden jubilee year, and called upon the officials to make impressive productions and to rise up to the occasion.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>ADG while admitting there was shortage of manpower, fund and technical problems; however said that AIR stations were providing the best service to the people throughout the region and urged upon to continue the good work.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Discussion on programmes and administrative matters, initiatives to be taken for better listening and coverage of medium wave stations, separate FM Channel for AIR Guwahati, innovating AIR studios, modernization and computerization in the AIR stations were some of the agendas discussed during the meet.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Earlier, the meeting began with a minute of silent prayer for those All India Radio officials of the region who passed away during the current year.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two-day Zonal Programme Coordination Committee (ZPCC) meeting of All India Radio (AIR), North East Region including Sikkim, kick-started Thursday at Hotel Millennium, Kohima.
