C-Edge College, Evangelical Union (EU) held one-day orientation on March 23 with an aim to equip the students to be responsible leaders among the students\u2019 circle especially as active EU members.<\/p>\n
The resource persons were Edward, staff-worker UESI-Nagaland, Priscilla Tungoe, city co-ordinator UESI-Nagaland and David Koza, EGF Dimapur. <\/p>\n
EU in-charge, Nivibo Y. Sumi, assistant professor (Sociology), shared that the college endeavors to imbibe amongst the students a comprehensive set of understanding education so that education is not an end in itself but a means to a higher quality life. <\/p>\n
It may be mentioned that C-Edge College EU, which was formed along with inception of the college has been nurturing and spiritually guiding students to be not only good Christians, but responsible citizens. <\/p>\n
Meanwhile, with an aim to enable the students gain better understanding of the historical and cultural perspectives from a local context, apart from textbook learning, C-Edge college of arts & management conducted a field trip on April 9 and visited the ancient ruins of Kachari Rajbari, Nagaland Science Centre and NEZCC Stone Sculpture Garden.<\/p>\n
A project work was assigned to the students by the department of History and Archaeology to enhance the process of learning from their experience of visiting the different sites.<\/p>\n
Teacher in charge, Dingupe Lasuh assistant professor (History & Archaeology), on behalf of the students and faculty members, extended gratitude to College principal, president and administrator for the opportunity and for granting all necessities.<\/p>\n
