An RCC tradition al \u201cMorung\u201d, \u201cBaongdu Bangjaa Morung\u201d which was constructed at the cost of Rs. 16, 0000 lakh at Yongshei village was inaugurated by C. Bhupom Phom, district horticulture office Longleng as chief guest.<\/span><\/div>\n

The chief guest while lauding the elders and youth of the \u201ckhel\u201d, said it was due to the combined and untiring effort, the \u201cMorung\u201d was completed successfully<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Phom also urged all citizens of the village to stay united and said that the construction of RRC \u201cMorung\u201d by the \u201ckhel\u201d has set an example to the rest of the Phom community. <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
The chief guest also urged the villagers to protect the beautiful \u201cMorung\u201d with love and care. He donated Rs. 20000 towards the Baongdu Pang.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Guest of honour, B. Metyen Phom, UDA SDEO, Longleng elaborated on the existence of \u201cMorung\u201d, and said it was a great significance in terms of ritual and practices. <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
The day-long programme witnessed folk dances by Shangnyei Vantungthee Bangthaung, Heong Shatanla & Chingshing Vangvungla Lamen Vangchong and Chingkon Linyiula Baondu Yiukha groups. <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Earlier, the programme was led by C. Phulen Phom and invocation prayer by Issac pastor Yongshei Baptist Church.<\/div>\n
