Metha as chief guest.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>A large number of Red Cross Officials, Life Members, Youth Red Cross members from Peren Government College and other well-wishers attended the function.<\/div>\n<div>Speaking at the occasion, the chief guest stressed on the need of the district branch to be prepared to tend to local emergencies including injuries, illness, natural and man-made calamities and other emergency cases.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>She also encouraged the members to make themselves visible through their humanitarian services for people to notice them and to recognize the existence of the Red Cross<\/div>\n<div>Joint secretary Albert enlightened the members on significance of observing the \u2018World Red Cross Day\u2019.<\/div>\n<div>New team of district managing committee in consonant with the new uniform rules for all district branches was also elected.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Newly elected managing committee members for IRCS Peren district branch include Khrienuo, C.
