Thepfusalie Guozie inspected the ongoing project of Ch?zano Minor Irrigation Project at Mezoma on May 7. The project is being undertaken up by the department of Accelerated Irrigation Benefits Programme (AIBP), a centrally sponsored scheme. <br \/>\nThe project is set to connect at least 60-70 families in the area, and has undoubtedly solved the problem of improper system of water channel to paddy fields. Inspecting the project site,Er. Gozie lauded the progress of the work, which is being taken care of by a youth leader Khrielevi Ch?si. Er. Gozie said various departments have been helping the villagers under different capacities. Likewise, the irrigation &amp; flood control department has extended Ch?zano MI project to Mezoma village for the year 2011 to enable villagers to earn during the execution period of the construction work. Khrielevi said, Ch?zano MI Project which is 4-5 km, is one the best water resources in the area.
