{"id":9507,"date":"2011-05-15T00:43:47","date_gmt":"2011-05-15T00:43:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2011\/05\/15\/don-bosco-relic-to-arrive-dmu-on-may-21\/"},"modified":"2011-05-15T00:43:47","modified_gmt":"2011-05-15T00:43:47","slug":"don-bosco-relic-to-arrive-dmu-on-may-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2011\/05\/15\/don-bosco-relic-to-arrive-dmu-on-may-21\/","title":{"rendered":"Don Bosco relic to arrive Dmu on May 21"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/LWIASKCSIQGDSNZJZIVD.jpg><\/p>\n<div>The casket containing St. Don Bosco\u2019s relic which is on a world tour would be arriving Dimapur on May 21, 9am.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Addressing media persons on Saturday at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Dimapur, officials of the Salesian family said the relic in a casket consisting the bone of the right hand of saint Don Bosco inserted in the chest of Don Bosco\u2019s statue will be taken to various institutions to pay homage and veneration during the four-day tour in Dimapur.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The relic will be received at Nagaland Gate (Golaghat road) on May 21, 9am and would arrive at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur at 9.30am.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The Salesian family of Dimapur province, a conglomerate of 28 societies and organizations in the states of Nagaland, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Upper Assam has invited for public reception to pay homage to the great educationist, father and friend of the youth.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The occasion would be graced by Maongwati Aier, deputy commissioner, Dimapur, Zekotso Mero, SP Dimapur, Nikashe Sema, CEO, DMC, Savi Leigise, president, Naga Council Dimapur, Rev. Fr. James Poonthuruthil sdb, provincial, Dimapur Province and Francis Pelevituo Solo, provincial president, Don Bosco Alumni. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>On the first day of its pilgrimage to Dimapur, the relic will leave Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Dimapur at 1pm for St. Joseph\u2019s School Chumukedima and would be available for public viewing at 1pm and arrive at St. Mary\u2019s School Padumpukhuri at 5pm.<\/div>\n<div>On May 22, the relic will be brought to Don Bosco Vocational Training Centre, 3rd Mile at 6.30 am, leave for Holy Cross Church at 8am, and arrive at the Auxilium at 6.45am.
