Keeping in view of the rare astronomical event that falls on June 6, \u2018Transit of Venus\u2019, the Department of Science and Technology will witness this spectacular and historical celestial event, at the early hours on June 6. <\/p>\n
To enable school children to observe this spectacular and historical celestial event, as the next event will take place in the year 2117 December, the department will be conducting a trainers programme, said senior scientific officer, Dr. Zavei Heise, in a press release.<\/p>\n
While extending invitation to educational institutions to depute one personnel for the training, the department said training at Kohima has been fixed on May 31 at the conference hall of directorate of Science and technology, new capital complex and to contact 9436000635 or email alongnewmai@yahoo.com.<\/p>\n
In Mokokchung, the training will be held on June 1 where detail information can be obtained through contact no 961261816 or email tia.molier@gmail.com. <\/p>\n
