{"id":97842,"date":"2013-05-21T01:08:21","date_gmt":"2013-05-21T01:08:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/05\/21\/april-30-assault-case-amicably-settled-dayo\/"},"modified":"2013-05-21T01:08:21","modified_gmt":"2013-05-21T01:08:21","slug":"april-30-assault-case-amicably-settled-dayo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/05\/21\/april-30-assault-case-amicably-settled-dayo\/","title":{"rendered":"April 30 assault case amicably settled: DAYO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Issues arising out of the April 30 case of assault and threat to an executive member of Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) in Chumukidema has been \u201camicably settled\u201d after an unconditional public apology by culprits.<\/p>\n<p>According to the public apology by the \u201cperpetrators of the crime\u201d forwarded by Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation, R\u00fcdolhoukho-u of Chumukidema town and Pelie Lhoukepelie of Chumekidema village have admitted to physical assault and \u201cgun point\u201d threat against Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation member after disclosing the latter\u2019s tribe identity which had hurt the sentiments of the Ao community.<\/p>\n<p>The two stated that they tendered unconditional apology for the crimes committed and said they would be held responsible of \u201cthe life of the victim in questions or any of the members of Ao community\u201d was harmed in connection with the case in future.<\/p>\n<p>They made the public apology in the presence of Ao community leaders, relatives and Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation&nbsp; members signed by five witnesses on May 20.<\/p>\n<p>Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation&nbsp; president K.
