{"id":97872,"date":"2013-05-22T01:26:04","date_gmt":"2013-05-22T01:26:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2013\/05\/22\/tribal-leaders-to-meet-on-st-recognition\/"},"modified":"2013-05-22T01:26:04","modified_gmt":"2013-05-22T01:26:04","slug":"tribal-leaders-to-meet-on-st-recognition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2013\/05\/22\/tribal-leaders-to-meet-on-st-recognition\/","title":{"rendered":"Tribal leaders to meet on ST recognition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Co-ordination Committee of Concern Nagaland Tribal Leaders has convened a consultative meeting May 25 at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur at 10 a.m. and invited all concern Nagaland Tribal leaders to attend the scheduled meet.<\/p>\n<p>This is in continuation to the meeting of various Nagaland tribal leaders at Hotel Japfu, Kohima May 10, 2013 where it was unanimously decided to press the state government to review its Notification of August 4, 2012 recognising the Rongmei Naga tribe as schedule tribe of Nagaland State.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, committee secretary Theja Therieh said requested tribal organisations to extend their good will and participate with at least three delegates in the larger interest of the Naga tribes of Nagaland to translate their dreams in to reality. <\/p>\n<p>The Kohima meeting of May 10 had also decided to oppose all such attempt to further recognise any other tribes from outside the state of Nagaland. <\/p>\n<p>The meeting also unanimously decided to organise a common platform of Naga tribes of Nagaland State as a long felt desire of the people to represent the voice of the Naga tribes in the State of Nagaland and to pursue common goal and objectives. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Co-ordination Committee of Concern Nagaland Tribal Leaders has convened a consultative meeting May 25 at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur at 10 a.m. and invited all concern Nagaland Tribal leaders to attend the scheduled meet.
