{"id":98340,"date":"2012-06-13T00:05:02","date_gmt":"2012-06-13T00:05:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2012\/06\/13\/june-7-shooting-nscn-k-denies-involvement\/"},"modified":"2012-06-13T00:05:02","modified_gmt":"2012-06-13T00:05:02","slug":"june-7-shooting-nscn-k-denies-involvement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2012\/06\/13\/june-7-shooting-nscn-k-denies-involvement\/","title":{"rendered":"June 7 shooting: NSCN (K) denies involvement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>NSCN (K) has denied its involvement in the June 7 shooting incident near Mohonkhola at Kohima where one civilian sustained bullet injury. <\/p>\n<p>MIP statement from NSCN (K) Tuesday blamed rival GPRN\/NSCN cadres for the incident stating that the car in which the \u201cunfortunate\u201d victim was driving had similar \u201chue\u201d and \u201clooks\u201d like one that belonged to one of its Naga Army personnel. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis act was committed by the GPRN\/NSCN cadres with intent to harm its Naga Army personnel but the civilian became the victim of mistaken identity by the gun-flashing Khehoi campers who do not care for the lives of innocent citizens,\u201d the statement added. <\/p>\n<p>Describing the act by GPRN\/NSCN cadres as \u201cdastardly,\u201d the statement also asked all to condemn the act and further asked law enforcing agencies of Nagaland to book the culprits and award befitting punishment to the perpetrators of this crime adding that it was ready to assist the investigating agencies towards identifying the culprits of this \u201cheinous\u201d crime.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, refuting Assam Rifles charges that its cadres were armed with pistols and in possession of incriminating documents of NSCN (K), Cease-fire Supervisory Board (CFSB) member and finance \u201ckilonser\u201d Hokato Vusshe asked police to spell out clearly to the chairman CFSB to which group the documents, which the AR claimed it seized from NSCN (K) cadres, actually belonged.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to this correspondent over phone, CFSB member reiterated that the documents were part of the seizure list along with two pistols that were submitted to the police by Assam Rifles and included an assignment order from the office of the \u201csecretary\u201d ministry of chaplee affairs, GPRN, Khekiho Chophi, phone index list containing names and telephone numbers of chaplee staff including chaplee \u201ckilonser\u201d Jack Zhimomi, \u201cdeputy kilonsers\u201d Bohoto, Nitovi, Angpa, John, Yensaba, Benjamin and secretaries and \u201cinformation slips\u201d (challans) issued by GPRN\/NSCN.<\/p>\n<p>Stating the all the names mentioned in the documents were from GPRN\/NSCN, the Chaplee \u201ckilonser\u201d asked AR to refresh their information on the \u201cdesignated\u201d leaders and officers asking AR to get their facts right on which group the names mentioned in the alleged seized documents are currently based. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow can the AR charge our organization for possession of documents that were never ours but those of GPRN\/NSCN?\u201d Vusshe queried.<\/p>\n<p>On the alleged seizure of pistols, he said that his boys were not in possession of the weapons but were brought by AR troops to frame&nbsp; NSCN (K) cadres for possessing the guns. <\/p>\n<p>NSCN (K) questioned the motive of the AR for falsely implicating his boys for possession of these documents which did not belong to his group and for \u201cmysteriously\u201d producing the guns that were never found during the raid.<\/p>\n<p>Asking AR to draw same parity on its \u201cso called\u201d effort to maintain \u201claw and order,\u201d CFSB member asked AR why NSCN (K) men are being the sole target in their bid to frame such \u201cridiculous\u201d charges of violating CF ground rules when cadres of GPRN\/NSCN move about freely in arms and disturbing general peace and endangering the lives of innocent civilians.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NSCN (K) has denied its involvement in the June 7 shooting incident near Mohonkhola at Kohima where one civilian sustained bullet injury.
