The hostel was launched under the initiative of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) for girl students with an aim to educate and encourage the economically, socially deprived girls.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The hostel will also aid in cultivating all round development; mentally, physically and socially of such girls.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung and Chairman District Mission Authority (SSA), Sushil Kumar Patel IAS, graced the launching as the chief guest. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Speaking at the program, DC said that the country has witnessed girls faring better in exams for the past few years and expressed his hope the boarders from the hostel also will shine in their results.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He also appreciated the efforts of opening this hostel through the SSA scheme especially for the girls from the weaker sections of the society.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Sushil further encouraged the board to be disciplined and follow the rules and regulations laid down by the authority. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He informed that the district mission authority will soon start with the construction of a new building as the centre has already approved for the same and added that till the new building is constructed, the hostel will be run from the same building located at Arkong ward, Mokokchung.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Further, Sushil added that the authority will try to provide all the facilities to the hostel as possible.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He concluded by encouraging the boarders all the best in the forthcoming exams and urged them to perform well in their studies.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Earlier, the program was chaired by Chubainla IED Coordinator while the welcome speech by I.
