{"id":99118,"date":"2016-10-30T21:23:42","date_gmt":"2016-10-30T21:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2016\/10\/30\/encsu-cautions-state-govt\/"},"modified":"2016-10-30T21:23:42","modified_gmt":"2016-10-30T21:23:42","slug":"encsu-cautions-state-govt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2016\/10\/30\/encsu-cautions-state-govt\/","title":{"rendered":"ENCSU cautions state govt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Eastern Nagaland College Students\u2019 Union (ENCSU) has reaffirmed that the union would standby by the July 26 &amp; October 29 ultimatums demanding four MMBS seats to six backward tribes of Eastern Nagaland.<\/div>\n<div>In a press note, ENCSU chairman Longre Chang and jt. secretary Nokchem Angth warned that if government failed to fulfil their demands immediately, the union would be \u201ccompelled \u201cto revoke its temporarily suspended agitation in consultation with the ENSF\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>ENCSU said it was shocked to learn that \u201csome non-Eastern tribes, who were showing lukewarm attitude, were treacherously benefited out of the union\u2019s fight\u201d. \u201cIf other tribes can benefit double out of our cry than why not the six backward tribes?\u201d, ENCSU stated.<\/div>\n<div>The union also pointed saying \u201cif the government could give two\/three seats than there was no problem in giving four seats\u201d.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Even after the lapse of 96 days, ENCSU said the government wanted to compromise the issue by allotting two seats. This offer cannot be accepted until there were some conditions to safeguard the two still missing seats, the union added.<\/div>\n<div>It said manipulative game played by some people, trying to disintegrate the unity among the Eastern Nagas should be avoided before the things become unhealthy, the union cautioned.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Eastern Nagaland College Students\u2019 Union further demanded that those students, even after being allocated the seats, should be admitted safely by the government and the department concern and should avoid any confusion that will hinder their career.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eastern Nagaland College Students\u2019 Union (ENCSU) has reaffirmed that the union would standby by the July 26 &amp; October 29 ultimatums demanding four MMBS seats to six backward tribes of Eastern Nagaland.
