The sensitization programme was focused on the harmful effects of tobacco both on humans and the environment.<\/div>\n<div>Dr. Arenla stated that consumption of tobacco in various forms not only affected ones health but was also a burden on the economy of the state. The speaker emphasized on the role of the law enforcing agency in raising awareness on the harmful effects of tobacco, advocacy, reporting of violations and complying with the law.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Participants also pledged to spread awareness about hazards of tobacco and to live a healthy tobacco free life.
