Altogether 552 patients were reportedly checked by the team of doctors from Jorhat Lions Eye Hospital and free medicines were also distributed. According to a Lions club official, 111 patients have been enlisted for IOL surgery and would undergo surgery (expenditure sponsored by Lions) at Jorhat Lions Eye Hospital from September 25- October 1.
