Various issues such pertaining to the ongoing infrastructure projects for the development of schools and steps needed to be adopted for improvement of NDA intake of the cadets were deliberated at the XV local board administration (LBA) held at Sainik School Punglwa on May 11.
The meet was held under the chairmanship of chief of staff, HQ 3 Corps and chairman, LBA, Maj Gen Deepak Saxena, VSM.
Principal, Gp Capt Sanjay Gaekwad, briefed the members on the projects, the financial grants and the support received from the ministry of Defence Sainik Schools Society, Govt of Nagaland and HQ 3 Corps.
The meeting was also attended by Brig SV Devasthali, BGS (Info Sys), HQ 3 Corps, Sqn Ldr Sanjeev Chaudhary, vice principal, Pollem Tep, addl director (Sch Edn) & nodal officer, advocate Zhasakhoto Vupru, parents’ rep, Shivam Verma, IAS, SDO (Civil), Peren and Er Ketuoselie Kenguruse, SDO, PWD(H) Edn Div.
Later, the chairman inaugurated NDA Cell and visited the ongoing projects sites.
He also interacted with the cadets and gave motivating advice to the cadets. He advised them to study hard to crack the NDA entrance exam and SSB. The school also bade farewell to Maj Gen Saxena.
