In accordance with its tradition, an investiture ceremony was conducted at Sainik School Punglwa on April 27 which was presided over by commander, 44 Mountain Brigade, Brigadier HS Cheema.
In his address to the cadets, the chief guest exhorted them to join the armed forces as it was one of the best and right profession to excel in life.
Brigadier HS Cheema also gave a motivational talk to the cadets of class X, XI and XII cadets besides his exhaustive power-point presentation on life in the armed forces and adventure activities. During the ceremony, a total of 39 cadets were reposed with the responsibility of school appointments, house captains and house vice captains for 6 mother houses and 4 holding houses.
The appointments were given to cadets who have excelled in various school activities. Later, the chief guest was presented with the Sainik School Memento by the principal, Sainik School Punglwa.
