Two wooden houses including three shops were completely destroyed by a devastating fire which broke out near Alder College Kohima on April 4 night. According to fire and emergency services, five fire tenders were pressed into service and the inferno was brought under control the next morning. Sources said LPG cylinder also exploded, however no casualty was reported. The cause of fire and the property worth destroyed yet to be established.
