Supply Colony Council (SCC) has taken keen concern on the difficulties faces by the school going children, elderly person in particular and all other pedestrian in general due to bad road condition in the colony.
In a colony council executive meeting held on June 15, SCC decided to undertake filling of potholes on the road and also clearing of clogged drainage through voluntary free-will monetary contribution as well as through the conduct of social work of the colony residents with immediate effects.
In this connection, Panger Jamir chairman SCC in a release has appealed to all residents of the colony and those governments departments offices set up in the colony and other establishment to extend free-will donations and also urged all executive committee members of the council and GBs to pay the amount which was fixed for them for initiating the work programmes as set by the colony council.
