Project directors & BDOs meet held

The conference of the Project Directors and BDOs of the department of rural development, Nagaland was held on September 17, chaired by Metsubo Jamir, Director, Rural Development.
In the inaugural function, Pangyu Phom, parliamentary secretary, RD & REPA exhorted the officers and challenged them to excel and make the department a ‘shining example’ in the field of development in the state. He further encouraged the officers that he himself being an Officer of the department till recently, is well aware of their grievances and difficulties and has promised to look after their welfare.
Commissioner & secretary, Rural Development V. Sakhrie also spoke on the occasion and requested the officers to be sincere in discharging their duties and to be prompt in looking into the grievances and complaints lodged by the rural people.
The director (SIRD) spoke on the training to be conducted for BRGF Districts and requested the Officers to attend all the trainings. Performance review of all the Blocks and Districts on various Rural Development Programmes were also conducted.
