Deepika Padukone was spotted with Tennis ace Novak Djokovic in Los Angeles, when the duo went on a dinner date in a popular restaurant Tuesday. While fans might be thrilled by this fact, a foreign daily failed to recognise the actress and addressed Deepika as a “leggy brunette.”
“The world number one Tennis player appeared to have had a great night as he was pictured exiting the bar- popular among LA’s A-lister set- in the dark hours of the evening with a female companion,” reports the Daily Mail.
Deepika and Djokovic were seen coming out of celebrity hub The Nice Guy and the two stars also left the place in the same car.
Describing Djokovic and the Bollywood actress’ attire, the report added, “While he kept it casual, she appeared to have made more of an effort in sartorial terms, favouring a timeless monochrome colour theme.
The leggy brunette slipped her towering figure into a flirty frock which was decorated with a statement floral print and skimmed her knees.”
Deepika, who is rumoured to be in a relationship with Ranveer Singh, is all set to make her Hollywood debut in Vin Diesel’s upcoming movie “XXX- The Return of Xander Cage.” While some fans are disappointed with the foreign daily for not recognising Deepika, some opined that the actress is yet to achieve international fame and that it is not surprising for the international media to not have identified her.
