Excise narcotic seize banned SP

Excise Narcotic, Dimapur duty team under the command of AIE Chigten while manning Chumukedima check gate recovered 17,904 capsules of banned Spasmo Proxyvon drugs from Imphal bound Guwahati night super (MN01-1735).
According to deputy commissioner of Excise (NC) Visedelie Mepfuo the seized items were recovered from four sealed 5 kg of Sudh Atta package each containing 4,476 capsules.
In this connection two accused identified as Md. Altab (22) son of Sangomsubam Md. Hesomuddin resident of Keinao Makting Awang Leikie Irubung, East Imphal, Manipur and Md. Mote (34) son of Abdul Maneb resident of Keinao Makting Awang Leikei keinao Bitra, East Imphal were arrested and booked under Drugs & Cosmetic Act 1940 and has been forwarded to judicial custody.
