Kohima police manning interstate check gate at Khuzama on October 16 intercepted one manipur bound passenger bus and recovered 500 bottles of banned Phensedyl cough syrup and 2 ½ Kgs (two and half) of sandalwood.
According to Kohima police PRO, one person identified as Muniyandi M (41) son of Mayaalagu of Royapuram village, Chennai, Tamil Nadu was arrested in this connection. A regular case has been registered against the arrested person for conducting further investigation, informed Kohima police.
