District Appropriate Authority (DAA) and District Advisory Committee (DAC) held meeting on Pre-Natal Diagnostic Technique (PNDT) Act on October 15 at Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office chamber, Dimapur under the chairmanship of CMO Dr. M.A. Wati.
During the meeting, the house resolved that Chief Medical Officer would call a meeting of all registered Ultra Sound Clinics with committees on October 30 at CMO’s Conference Hall to re-orient them on PNDT Act while Dr. Wati also briefed on Pre-Natal Diagnostic Technique Act.
The meeting was attended by CMO Dr. M.A. Wati, Deputy CMO Dr. Antoly, Dr. C. W. Tungoe, medical superintendent, DHD, SDO (C) P. James Swu, Vimeno, Naga Women Hoho and CMO staff.
