
A book store “National competitive” which focus to assist those students while preparing for competitive exams was opened at Nepali Bosti opposite Lions club gate, Dimapur on Wednesday.
The new book store was inaugurated by DMC administrator, Atokhe Aye as chief guest.
In his brief speech, Atokhe encouraged the gathering to inculcate the habit of learning and reading habit inorder to gain knowledge which in turn would help develop the society.
Pointing out that, “without book knowledge is limited”, he encouraged the gathering to expand the practice of reading more books.
Atokhe also urged the public and gathering to take advantage of such stores in the state which will not only benefit the entrepreneurs but delivers useful information and awareness to the public.
According to proprietor of the store, Ikto Yetho (M. com and masters in human rights) the opening of the store would make it easier for students to find competitive books right at the door step.
He said that books would be available at discount rate.
The store will also purchase and sell second hand books.

Earlier, the programme was chaired by Louis S Zhimomi, invocation was delivered by United Baptist Church (UBC) Midland pastor Revered Puduhu Kheso and benediction was delivered by UBC youth, assistant pastor Krielevol.
