Cancel backdoor appointments, demands NSF

August 21, 2015 | by admin

Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) on Thursday warned the state government on alleged “random backdoor appointment” in all the departments and demanded that all names appointed through backdoor be cancelled. Failure to cancel, NSF cautioned that it would take up strong action against the responsible departments and reminded the state government that it would not remain silent.
In a press release, NSF assistant general secretary Kesosul Christopher Ltu and secretary information & publicity Maneng Longchar further said the federation would not tolerate the misuse of power “by some individuals for their vested interest overlooking all merits.”
Maintaining that it has tirelessly worked against any form of corruptions and social evil since its inception, the federation appreciated and acknowledged all its federating units that came all out against the backdoor appointment.
To cleansing the menace of backdoor appointment completely, the federation said it was working out for “a holistic approach” in framing out its modalities.
Asking all the responsible departments to conduct examination according to the norms by giving opportunity to all the eligible candidates, the federation also strongly demanded for requisition of all posts that came under the preview of Nagaland public Service Commission (NPSC).
