As a part of fellowship exchange programme, initiated by state governor P. B. Achary, a highly specialised group of doctors from Mumbai arrived Dimapur on May 7.
The team would be conducting free medical checkup at Peren District hospital on May 9 and 10.
The team was headed by gynaecologist Dr. H.S. Palep and supported by physician Dr. Lalitha Palep, robotic, obesity and laparoscopic surgeon Dr. Jaydeep Palep, general and breast cancer surgeon Dr. Reshma Palep, cardiologist and physician Dr. Satya Agarwala, laparoscopist and cancer surgeon Dr. Anjali Patil , ortho surgeon Dr. Karmaraj Singh and eye specialist Dr. Asonia. All concerned individuals have been informed to avail the opportunity from the visiting doctors.
