New GPS buildings inaugurated

New building of Government Primary School, Vungoju colony in Wokha town, which was constructed under SSA Scheme 2011-12, was inaugurated on March 25 by the District Education Officer, Wokha, N Marius Lotha, as the chief guest. Marius, in his speech, spoke on the importance and vitality of quality education and continuous evaluation and assessment of the students. 
Short speeches were delivered by ADC, SSA (DMA) Wokha, P Zubenthung Humtsoe, chairman Vungoju Colony, Nchubomo, and WEC Vungoju chairman, Yamatsson Humtsoe. The programme chaired by Project Assistant SSA (DMA) Wokha, N Pichamo Jungio, and dedicatory prayer was offered by WTBC Pastor Rev. Sulumo. The vote of thanks was delivered by, Thungbemo Tsopoe, Teacher Incharge of the GPS. WTBC deacon, Renjanthung Kikon, invoked God’s blessing while the benediction was said by WTBC deaconess, Yanbeni Kikon.
In a related programme, a newly constructed GPS building under SSA programme during 2011-12 at Midland Colony, Wokha town, was inaugurated by Dr. Chumben Murry, former minister & member PAC to the government of Nagaland, on March 26.
The inaugural programme was chaired by Ekyimo Odyuo, Project Assistant (SSA) Wokha. Short speech were delivered by T Chonbenthung Odyuo, SDEO Wokha; P Zubenthung Humtsoe, ADC, SSA Wokha; Yanrenthung Rangthang, chairman WEC; and vote of thanks was given by Tachow Kithan, chairman Midland Colony. Earlier, the dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Rev. S Thungrio Khuvung, Assistant Pastor of Wokha Town Baptist Church.
