Wokha Town Council informs

Wokha Town Council has informed all public to desist from throwing/ dumping animal carcasses and excreta at Mahanto Nullah.

The Council administrator, Mhomo Tungoe, has issued the directive as the public are in the habit of dumping animals carcasses and excreta at Mahanto Nullah, thereby causing air and water pollution and causing health hazards especially for those people living in an around the area. He warned that any one found violating the order would be imposed fine with a penalty of Rs 2000 and be booked under appropriate section of law.
