Industrial village Razhüphe adopts resolution on Oct 12 meet

Village council of Industrial village Razhüphe (IVR) along with VDBs, advisors, mother unit and the village committee held an emergency meeting on October 12 at the residence of its council chairman and adopted resolutions.
A press release issued by IVR head GB cum village chairman T.L Angami and council secretary Kenie Angami stated that as per the prohibition act the village council resolved to totally prohibit selling of wine /liquor and any other intoxicating within the Industrial Village Razhüphe jurisdiction with immediate effect.
The chairman and council secretary also stated that in the event of failure on the part of the house owner in driving out its tenant selling liquor the owner shall be penalized according to the resolution.
With regard to this the GBs, vigilance committee and the mother unite have been entrusted to implement the prohibition order.
The house also resolved that no one would be allowed to sell village land with government patta/jamabandi within Industrial Village Razhüphe as the village land was not acquired by the government according to the law of the land.
The house resolved that no colony or khel within the jurisdiction of Industrial Village Razhüphe will be allowed to trace /draw out their colony /khel map without the consent and knowledge of the Village Council.
The house also resolved that one Lalthara son of Ngama a resident of Industrial Village Razhüphe have been living under the protection of the village council from the hand of the encroachers and was paying house tax to government through village council since 1990.
Therefore, the village council resolved that Lalthara would not be allowed to sell of his plot/property within the village without the consent and knowledge of the village council and accordingly anybody dealing with him for his property within the village would be doing so at their own risk.
The house also resolved that present St. Stephen Higher Secondary School was protected from encroachers by village council of Industrial Village Razhüphe during its initial stage and the school have been directed to use the name of the village i.e. Industrial Village Razhüphe in their signboard and for their correspondence as earlier.
Further, the house also directed GBs and vigilance committee to check the encroachers of the village roads thereby narrowing the approach roads within the village and submit their report to the village council for immediate action.
