Explaining the circumstances that led to the formation of the outfit, the NSCN (Reformation) has clarified that the “basic idea” behind naming NSCN- Reformation was also its “humble attempt” to reform the Naga National movement by involving all the people. In a press release, NSCN (R) MIP secretary said they intentionally did not tag the name of the party with the name of the leaders as “it is neither a personal movement nor a private issue.”
