Kma organizations condemn

Lower Agri Ward Council (LAWC), Lower Agri Colony Women Welfare Union (LACWWU) and Lower Agri Youth Organisation (LAYO) have vehemently condemned the ‘uncivilized act’ of some persons one of whom claimed himself to be one Akum, 2nd Lieutenant of NSCN (K), adjutant to Town Commander Kohima region, who were found roaming within the colony jurisdiction with arms in an inebriated state.
A joint press release issued by LAWC chairman, Atuo Kapfo, presidents of LACWWU Azonuo and LAYO Aman claimed that an accomplice of Akum fired a shot in the air from 7.65 resolver to create havoc at the fete day event organized by the LAYO on October 11. The incident happened around 2 p.m. at a time when the citizens of the colony and neighbouring colonies young and old alike were participating in the said event of which most of whom were children, it said. The organisations further cautioned that it would not tolerate any kind of anti-social acts adding that stern action would be initiated against perpetrators of such act within its jurisdiction.
