Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Zunheboto district unit held the district executive meeting cum introductory session with its mandal presidents at the BJP office, Old Town here Thursday.
The meeting, which stressed and deliberated on various issues, resolved that it would maintain coordination, mutual cooperation and co-existence of the party setup and amongst the general public.
All the respective mandals were directed to function within the BJP Constitution and guidelines. The meet also resolved to initiate “check and balance” of all district government office and streamline the functions of all departments in the district.
Earlier, the meeting was chaired by the BJP Zunheboto district vice president Vikishe Awomi and district general secretary Akalu H Achumi as secretary began with an invocation prayer by the district Mahila president Shenili. Welcome address by the youth president Katoho was followed by the Report presentations by the respective Mandal (area/region) presidents.
BJP district president K L Khuvishe delivered the presidential address and keynote followed by vote of thanks by Hokishe Kiho BJP (Kisan Cell) President and concluded with Vikishe vice president Zbto who said the benediction.
Around 70-80 BJP party workers from Pughoboto unit, Suruhuto unit, Satakha unit, Aghunato unit, Zunheboto unit and Mahila Zbto attended the meeting.
