In observance of Anti-Malaria Month, IEC Bureau of the Department of Health and Family Welfare (H&FW), Kohima, in collaboration with NVBDCP and IEC, NRHM of Longleng district, have carried out IEC activities covering 15 villages from June 23 to June 27.
In order to mobilize the people, the IEC personnel and NVBDCP had visited villages and conducted focus group discussion by organising health talks on malaria.
The team was led by IEC officials from H&FW department; health educator training officer Supongbenla Lemtor, block extension educator Bendangmong, family welfare assistant Thejangunuo and DMO Dr. Thungbemo from district level, media officer, BPMs, ASHA-Coordinator and SHP Coordinator.
IEC leaflets materials on malaria were distributed and blood slides were collected.
