Bible Society of India Dimapur Auxiliary has released “Maring Naga Bible” on May 4 at Machi Baptist Church Manipur.
The Bible was released by Reverend Dr ZK Rochill senior auxiliary secretary. In his message, he emphasized on the importance of Bible in everyone’s’ life.
Stressing in the book of Mathew 24:35 “heaven and earth will pass away, but my word will not pass away”, Rochill said “when we read the bible God speak to us and when we pray we speak to God”.
Maring translator and present executive secretary presented report sharing hardship that he underwent to bring out “Maring Naga Bible” into reality.
Meanwhile, Reverend MM Hormi Ko- Untim and Maring community expressed gratitude to BSI ministry for providing God’s word in Maring Naga dialect. Altogether 3000 copies were sold on the release day.
