Based on specific information, search operation was launched by troops of 29 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 6 Sector AR on May 5 from the house of Yangthase Sangtam (43) at Fellowship colony. During the search of the house 20 live rounds of 7.62mm caliber, 60 live rounds of .22 caliber and one hand grenade were recovered. he accused was apprehended and handed over to West Police Station.
