DRFCB argued that this has caused the bridge to fall vertically and warned that it might cause another major disaster.
The board has asked the authorities to block the movement of heavy vehicular immediately along the weak bridge.
Despite a precautionary warning by DRFCB, the government has not taken steps to re-construct the bridge.
