NSCN (I-M) Chang region refutes AR statement

NSCN (I-M) Chang region while taking serious note of the news item “AR nabs NSCN (I-M) cadre” published on May 4 in some local dailies has refuted AR on recovery of ammunition.
According  to a statement issued by Maj. Sepong Chang, CAO, Chang Region, AR conducted a joint raid at the residence  of Tatar Sipong and Raja Peyu Chuba Chang at Nyaklangbou sector, Tuensang town on April 29 at under  the command of Capt. Chauhan. 
The CAO said that, when the AR found nothing from the passion of the cadres, its personnel placed 10 lives rounds of AK 47 beneath the bed and later took it out claiming as the recovery from the possession of the cadre and apprehended Raja Peyu Chuba Chang. Sepong Chang while stating that it was a well known “modus operandi”  of  AR, has alleged that  the one responsible for the raid was one Ari Sangtam M.I. (R/NO. 4514), son of Throngji of 23rd AR.
NSCN (I-M) Chang region, while maintaining the ceasefire ground rules, had the foremost task of maintaining peace prevailing in the land. However,   the  random act and “blatant lie” of the AR has jeopardizing the hard earned peace, alleged NSCN (I-M).
